Oedipus Rex

Students of Radnor Actors Workshop Presents

A Tragedy by Sophocles

Adapted & Directed by John Bateman

The first sin...

Oedipus Rex is a tragic tale about a man who unknowingly kills his father and marries his mother. It portrays how far one man may go to change their fate... only to fall into a trap of the gods. Exploring themes of arrogance, power, and punishment, the story resonates just a powerfully today as it did a millennia ago. We are excited to bring this classic story to life in an open-air setting this spring at Radnor High School.
